“I lost everything” Oxlade on his leaked explicit video scandal

Entertainment News

After what seemed to be an eternity of silence, Oxlade finally addressed the explicit clip saga that had been leaked.

A few years back, the incredible Nigerian singer’s intimate tape with an unknown lady got leaked online, leaving the singer’s reputation shattered.

It escalated to the point where he lost most of his vital financial aid amid how vast Nigerians streamed the bedroom moment. Despite this view, Oxlade still publicly tendered his apology.

When asked about the incident, the ‘Kolusa’ crooner admitted to being ruined by the experience.

However, he expressed his bliss to being the most googled name in Africa as of 2022 because of the incident, which helped boost his streaming numbers.

Admitting to reality, Oxlade revealed that as much as he confides guilt and discredits his action, he still doesn’t have to be hypocritically put to dust, for his action was a natural phenomenon that was not meant to be out there. He added that everyone goes intimate with their partners.

Addressing the situation, the Nigerian singer further expressed his concern over Nigerians, identifying them as hypocrites who love to bully trespassers as much as they are not caught in their sin.

In his words, he said:

“I have nothing to say about that because I didn’t put it out, so why should I explain myself? God bless the internet by the way. 2022, I was told I was the most Googled person in Africa. Una like rubbish.”

“I mean, but what are we without what I did? I mean, we cannot exist without it. It was a tutorial for the ignorant ones. It was enlightenment.”

“But now, it’s not something I would say I’m proud of. Because I went to rehab for that shit. I lost everything for that. Nigeria is a very hypocritical country where everybody will chastise you as long as they are not caught. So, I learnt a lot from that. I mean, it’s not like Nigerians always treated me special; and I love being Nigerian, don’t get me wrong, don’t get it twisted. But Nigeria no go gree you for you naturally, na you go fight for yourself.”

“So months after that, seeing my music get bigger than usual than normal, it just made me realize that even before God bless you, He must test you. He just whines you. Whining dey the matter na, if whining no dey, how e go take complete? How does the story wan to take sweet? You just wake up one day, God just bless you, e no normal na. Na that one wey go come look like jazz. So basically, the bigger the level, the bigger the devil.”

Nigerians couldn’t hold their nerves and reacted massively according to their views.
