Darlington Okoye popularly known as Speed Darlington is a Nigerian musician, songwriter, and dancer.

Speed Darlington was born in a village called Arondizuogu in Ideato North Local government areas of Nigeria of Imo state.

He was born in a family of Pericoma Okoye who is his (father) and Queen Theresa Onuorah who is his (mother).

Speed Darlington started with his Imo state culture dance known as Egedege Dance from childhood from the influence of his parents who are also a Igbo culture singer and then started singing at adulthood.
